What do people need in order to start?
If self sufficient, what kind currency are you going to use?
How will you earn local currency in order to get "outside" material if you must?
What form of government or leaders are there going to be?
How will you deal with general conflict or what happens if people steal, fight, or destroy property?
If all goes according to plan, what will one do with their time if you don't have a set job or hardly anything to worry about?
- It depends, if they are willing and dedicated then they can start now by researching all I have to offer on this site and with their own research.
- If you happen to be in the area of San Jose when I obtained my land, then they might have the opportunity to start along with me.
- Otherwise the first step would be to buy a plot of land, learn the necessary knowledge to construct an Earthship, and to find the necessary knowledge and resources for the bear essentials: waste disposal and recycling, of grid energy sources, and water sources.
If self sufficient, what kind currency are you going to use?
- Internally, none. Externally, local currency as usual.
- The idea is not to be governed by money. To never have to worry of debt, bills, tax, etc.
- But don't get me wrong, this would be a place to escape your existing expenses. Though in the future, as the community building becomes self-sufficient, the idea would be to help pay off to be rid of any debt for the whole community. You can think of it as one big marriage.
How will you earn local currency in order to get "outside" material if you must?
- As the basic needs are crossed off, (i.e. Housing for at least a few people, water, energy, and food) we would begin to implement the hyperbaric living and build the hyperbaric greenhouses. Once built properly these greenhouses will be able to supply an overwhelming amount of Great food. Which for any community might be the first thing that they're able to sell to the outside. Given that this dude might also stand out, It will probably sell very well. The plan would also be to sell them cheaper than your average food at the market, seeing as there would be no shipping cost, Labor cost, or really any cost put into it.
- So now not only would we be supplying more than our basic needs, we would be giving an actual taste to the outside world of what we can do.
- As the community grows bigger and accommodates more artist and talents, the possibilities are endless as to what we might market to the outside world. Especially to think that what the rest of the world my call hobbies, those in the community would be able to practice daily at will.
- And lastly, as the community begins to become truly self-sufficient it would no longer need basic materials to produce these "products". We would be a will to mine our own minerals and metals, grow our own natural and synthetic fibers, create our own compounds, and have our own automated machinery to help build these "products".
- Other services might include something like my recording studio, where mind you i would have built and made most the equipment. The studio within the community would be free of course, but for one that might exist down in the near by city will be there for others to pay for the service. But this service would stick out like a sore thumb, seeing as it would be a fraction of the cost, look like no studio they've ever seen, and offer so much more. But more on that later.
What form of government or leaders are there going to be?
- If i had the choice I would of course have my own country for this, but this will reside within whatever country you live. Government will still exist, but the idea is not to join in there games. Take as an example, you're a child in a school playground. There are kids, toys, and plenty of space everywhere. Though at this school teachers are watching the kids by trying to get them to be apart of their organized games. These game which everyone is treated the same and has "equal" rights, but yet nobody seems to be very happy but they don't know any other choice they have. Now you being a kid thinking outside the box, you know that you don't have to join. You gab a couple friends or even to start go by yourself to go play with these toys in a new way and have the most imaginative games. As long as you're not making tousle or putting anyone in danger, then the teachers don't take notice. Basically, you play along with their rules, but have your own will and agenda.
- Within the community, seeing as it would be very closed off after it became pressurized and have this idea of being self-reliant, there wouldn't be very much interacting with the outside world. You'd never cross paths with any government officials, so who's there to regulate and enforce? Well think about a tribal community or clan, do they run around with their heads cut off just cause they don't have someone from outside telling them right and wrong or dealing with their issues? I think not.
- Their would be no need for an internal judicial system. I mean, do call the police just because you father was unfair to you or your brother was mean to you or hit you? I hope not, this would be on the same principle. The community would deal with these issue like a family, they would be resolved within.
- Now if the worst comes, being murder or "treason", then that person would more likely be exiled. In the case of murder, they could be taken through the standard court system.
- Mind you, there could be a hundred different systems out there in different countries. This isn't a kingdom or corporation, all of these idea will be open source. Free for anyone to use. Though I do plan to have my own place where I only invite the people in my life that work well with me. There no point in having people be forced to be in the same place that don't see eye to eye at all.
How will you deal with general conflict or what happens if people steal, fight, or destroy property?
- If this is still a question for you, then you might not be seeing the full picture. Let me widen the view and further iterate.
- There's a reason why people say money is the root of all evil, because it is. If your entire world doesn't run off a current system, then how do you define if someone is in poverty? In the system, if all of your names are taken care of, i.e. food, water, housing, resources, and entertainment, then what do you have to steal or even worry about. Mind you, the only people around you to steal from in the first place are those that you live with. You have to think, why do I want to steal, where will I hide it or how they not find out, and what will I gain that I don't already possess. The only reason people steal are for profit, desperation to survive, or sadly for the sport of it. This already takes away the need for profit or survival, but for those that do it just in spite of stealing, my guess is is that they will be too satisfied and distracted to want to do something so petty.
- What if someone gets in a physical fight? First off I want to be much to worry about physically living in this environment. Secondly the community would more than likely treat this as a family issue and resolve it themselves, given that only people to fight are those that are like family to you. You also have to think what is there to fight about? Though there will always be disagreements, this system takes that sword fight down to a pillow fight.
- Once refined after short period, in most every bit of any conflict would just fall apart due to the lack of stress. No longer would you be conflicted with you or your loved one dealing with any major injuries, cancer, disease, Basic health issues, lack of energy, Lack of motivation, Etc. Furthermore, only time will tell but even possibly death or at least an exponentially longer lifetime.
- But again, In no way is this a "utopia" but could easily be mistaken for one.
If all goes according to plan, what will one do with their time if you don't have a set job or hardly anything to worry about?
- That would be something only you can decide. This gives you the opportunity to make your life what you've always dreamed to be or more. This sets open the floodgates to your mind and body. Without restrictions who knows what one might be a will to do.
- You don't we be given more and more opportunity to learn new things. This way of living is something that people have wanted and tried to do time and time again without having the right ingredients. Take for example the flower child movement or any other radical movement, which would build something without a foundation and what of course fall.
- In the system including hyperbarics, superior agriculture and diet, and worry free spare time you would not only have more energy and time to do things, you would have an entirely new mind. The chemistry in your body would be totally different. You'd be able to think faster, move faster, gain more muscle, have longer endurance, and have a clear mind. Think of the endless possibilities of that alone.
