The plan is to have a new way of living that's never been done before by our records. The idea is to live off grid and to be self-sufficient. Not only will it be a place with no need for money, it will be a place that has a controlled environment that will allow better health and mental state. It will be a community that will have the ability to make its own food and supply its own basic resources. Life would basically be as normal, but more like the way you were as a child on summer break with limited responsibly, no worries about where your food comes from, no though about if you'll be able to afford to get by or make rent, and having all the time in the world to do what you love.
Though it might sound like I'm trying to make a "utopia", I'm only making a free way of living, though not an effortless or a perfect way.
Although massive burdens and stress will be lifted, you'd still have a purpose and a duty to the community. But unlike a job, your position would be a place of duty that you made according to what you love and know. Your "job" wouldn't force you to be there or stay in a position you don't like or not suited for just because you need the money or can't find another job. You would have the privilege of contributing to your community by doing what you do best, whether that is being an artist or an engineer. If at any point you wanted to focus on learning something new, you'd have the time and resources. say if your position was a caretaker of the greenhouse, you might only be doing that 4-6 hours a day, and the rest of the day could be use to learn, relax, work on other talents and project.
Now if we also had someone who was into robotics and micro-controllers they could contribute to the greenhouse caretaker by automating the water supply, Ph balance, lighting, plant food, etc. Now after that, they might only have to stop by a couple a times a day to check up on the systems, harvest, or plant something new. suddenly their "work hours" just went from 42-28 hours a week to 14-4 hours.
So if we were to focus on furthering the efficiency of each "job" with contribution of an other, then eventually everyone would have more time to do what they love. And what kind of joy would you have knowing that everything you seen around you or ate came from yourself or your friend? And to think, what kind of technology would be around you or even invented without having research and production being dictated by whether it'll sell or the price of production.
Generally you'd pay $60,000 - $150,000 to build a house excluding the land, labor, architect, contractor, electrician, etc for materials. Hyperadobe and Cob is build from the land it's on for cost around $1,000 - $5,000
High labor, but high reward building your own home with your hands
More options for a custom looking home
2) Better sound and heat insulation
The insulation will store the heat of the summer and release in the winter generally giving you no need to heat or cool you home
In a multi-person home, sound insulation is key for privacy which is far more sound proof than any regular house insulation or sound proofing.
Normal Oxygen levels in our atmosphere is at ~21% which would be raised to 35 - 40%
More oxygen alone will give you more energy
A certain level of oxygen is need for you body to discard toxins, for production of cells and proper function.
The natural level isn't enough so we essentially are constantly at a state of asphyxiation
2) Higher Atmospheric Pressure
Normal pressure in the atmosphere is at ~14psi or 1atm which would be raised to 2.5 - 3atm
Above 2atm, the plasma in the blood becomes saturated thus being able to have a surplus of a oxygen reserve
With higher pressure you can think of it like a supercharger on a car in which it pushes air into the system. You can run faster, longer and same goes for your brain
In oxygen rich environments, bad bacteria struggle living. But in higher atmospheres above 2atm they can't live whatsoever
3) Long-term Exposure
As where some use this as therapy known as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), I'd be using it as day-to-day living
This way of living or even treatment, which is expensive, rare, and hardly covered by insurance or is even looked over by most doctors, will start to fix your whole system
Living in this environment, your body "normalizes" to a state where virtually don't hardly age, get sick, fully of energy, fully focused, etc.
Your body heals from wounds a lot faster with far less scaring if any
Cancer and diseases tends to fall apart and disappear. Also preventing any of them and might even weed out future deformities in the long run
Parts that would other wise not heal or need stem cell simulation, start to heal like nerves and brain cells
Trading with external source would be the same, but say if you needed to order a part for something and you didn't have enough money, the community would try to support you
The focus of "but whats in it for me?" will be steered towards "you need it more than I do" so trading internally will be more of giving away resources or labor as a favor knowing that you'll be treated the same later
Essentials are taken care of: food, water, health and energy.
No more Debt or use of credit
Lack of greed or glutenous purchasing of unneeded items
2) No corporations or restricted job positions
No more unnecessary jobs that you are stuck in due to the need for money and lack of "education" or the job you want is taken.
No more corporate regulation or control
No high up luxurious CEO like positions that get paid more than they need
No worry about losing or obtaining a job to get by
No unnecessary research and development of a product thats harmful or cheap just so it'll work better or sell more
3) No internal business
Lack of Consumerism
Possibly of "open shops" that people "sell" their creations for free
4) No government controlled schools
No unnecessary classes or lack of wanted classes
No controlled curriculum for teachers that dictate what they teach
The ability learn more, faster, and as need and wanted
5) No medicare or traditional health care
Lack of health problems
No more worrying about if you'll be treated or covered
No more Government crutch
No harmful Pharmaceuticals or worry of others "pill popping"
6) More Community involvement
The ability to have regular gatherings and events with everyone due to the fact that no one has to work or go to school
7) Better Community support
As the community grows there'll be more to help with the new comers house, more diversity in talent and knowledge.
When someone is in need, there will be more opportunity in a small community to seek and find help
