For some time, medical hyperbaric chambers have been used to hasten healing of skin injuries and various other ailments. While many hospitals contain a chamber like the one shown to the left, professional sports teams and celebrities have increasingly been experimenting with sleeping in enhanced oxygen and high pressure. Around the world, evidence is mounting that these chambers can reduce infection (as the skin itself absorbs oxygen), heal diseases, decrease stress, and enhance stamina.
The healing force of oxygen under pressure include:
Sports injuries: we can speed tissue repair and regeneration with oxygen saturation
Brain injury and ischemic stroke can be treated with lasting results. There are always areas that can be brought back to life
Heart attack can be healed with restorative oxygen
Multiple Sclerosis can benefit in the early stages of the disease, with low-pressure protocols
Surgery recovery is dramatically improved by hyperbaric oxygen
Cerebral palsy: latent, or “penumbral”, areas of the brain can be restored to higher function, and the new blood vessels formed are permanent
Wounds and chronic ulcers are finally healed
Migraine, glaucoma, sudden hearing loss, broken bones and more can be treated
Motor vehicle trauma cases see rapid reduction in pain and disability
Chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia cases are also relieved and energized
Living Longer Many people report finding Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to be very helpful for a number of conditions including stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s, traumatic brain injury and other neuro-degenerative diseases as well as heart attack, atherosclerosis, wounds and inflammatory diseases.
Residential treatment at Living Longer Medical resort is better than outpatient treatment because it provides a complete program in one place.
Animal Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy Inside the chamber, pets lie on a soft blanket and rest or sleep while the oxygen goes to work on wounds, swelling, burns and other injuries or illnesses. The pets are comfortable and relaxed during dog/cat hyperbaric therapy treatment. The total HBOT treatment time is from 1 to 2 hours, and is usually repeated twice a day. Treatments continue until the doctors see a marked improvement. When your pet is beginning to use the affected limb, or is gaining strength and function, the animal hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatments are discontinued.
